Black Friday try-on haul: spin into each look, tag every price

Try-on hauls are a staple of fashion feeds in the run-up to Black Friday: someone films themselves in a bedroom, spins, and lands in the next outfit. Marketers' reviews of past seasons rank try-ons among the formats people engage with most. Take that as a direction, not a promise. The format works because it feels like a person showing what they bought, not a brand showing a catalogue.
For a shop, a try-on haul needs one more thing: the price of every look, and a reason to buy now.
What to show, in order
| Time | On screen | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 0–2 s | Look 1, full body, in a real-looking room. A paper hang tag drops in beside the model: item, regular price struck through, sale price, discount. | The first look and its price land together. |
| ~4 s | The model spins and lands in look 2; the old tag lifts away and a new one drops in. | The spin is the rhythm. Every change is a small reveal. |
| ~9 s | Spin, look 3, new tag. | Three looks is enough for a haul and short enough to finish. |
| Last 3 s | The last look holds. The total saved, the deadline, the code and the CTA. | It ends on the number and what to do next. |
Get it right
- Same person, same room. Every look must be the same model in the same place, or it reads as three different ads.
- Show the whole outfit. Head to shoes in the vertical version; people judge the look, not one piece.
- Real prices only. Each "was" price must be what the item actually sold for. The discount on each tag and the total follow from your prices.
- Time the spins to the beat. Add a trending sound in the app and line the spins up with the drops.
Make it from a brief
The Try-On Price Haul Skill makes the whole video from outfit descriptions and prices, with no shoot and no creator:
Make a Black Friday try-on haul for Aster Lane: cable-knit sweater $89 → $59, camel wool coat $240 → $159, satin slip dress $120 → $79. Caption "Black Friday try-on haul", prices until Monday, code ASTER30, button "Shop the looks". Vertical and 4:5.
Your agent makes one keyframe per look with Nano Banana 2: the same model in the same bedroom, head to toe. It shows them to you, then Kling 2.5 Turbo animates a spin from each look into the next. Three looks cost about $0.94 in model usage on your own API key. The hang tags, discounts and total are drawn on your machine, so they're exactly what you typed. See the sample.
Want the clothes to match your stock exactly? Add a product photo of each item, and every look is made from it. Have a model? Give a photo of them (with their permission), and every look keeps their face.
A note on fit
An AI try-on shows the style, the colour and how a look goes together. It isn't a fitting. Keep size and fit claims for your product page.
FAQ
Do I need a model? No. Describe one, and the same AI-generated person wears every look.
How long is it? About 14 seconds with three looks: a second's hold, 5 seconds per spin, and 3 for the ending.
Can I use other languages and currencies? Yes. The tags and total are drawn from what you type, in any language and currency.
